Youth Projects

JProductions offer workshops and group-based projects aimed specifically at young people. We have experience of working in schools and with youth groups and our workshops allow young people to engage with various subjects in a creative way. JProductions teach practical camera and editing skills as well as learning how to put together a real shoot. The young people learn not only the hands on skills necessary to produce their video, but also the value of team work, puzzle solving, negotiation and communication skills. With television being such a staple part of a young person's diet, what better way to engage with important issues or just have some fun creating something that all involved will look back on for years to come?

We are happy to work with students of low ability or who are struggling either socially or behaviourly. We hope to build confidence and character as well as teaching practical skills.

JProductions are happy to sit down with your youth and work out an appropriate project with them. It works much better when the project comes from the young people rather than dictated to them.

We understand that not all youth organisations have vast sums of money and are therefore happy to evaluate and negotiate costs on an individual basis, taking into account the size of the project/number of workshops and your budget.
